Account Manager

Motorsports Social Media

Reine Digital is seeking an experienced and passionate marketing professional to support key client partnerships with a focus in brand marketing. In a fast-paced environment, this person will develop multi-channel social strategies, present and secure client buy-in for and oversee strategies, report on digital analytics, manage travel logistics and appearances, and provide event and media support as needed. A key component to the position will be staying on top of relevant industries and digital trends and maintaining strong relationships with social platforms.  This person must be highly organized, able to manage multiple accounts, possess superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and be willing and able to work some non-traditional hours, weekends, and travel.  


This position will be based in our Charlotte, NC office and reports to the Reine Group Account Director. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Oversee day-to-day management of client social handles, in addition to “big picture” planning and brainstorming 

  • Create and manage content for non-sponsored and sponsored pages and posts, including but not limited to, social contests, live feature broadcasts, sweepstakes and promotional content across all social media platforms including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Snapchat and YouTube 

  • Oversee community management across social channels to engage with current followers and enhance client brand value on social media 

  • Brainstorm new social media campaign ideas, implement campaigns based on business requirements, and recap performance of campaigns  

  • Manage ad budgets across social channels as needed; optimize client social spend to drive campaign objectives and provide ongoing reporting to clients  

  • Maintain and enhance voice and tone for each brand across all social media platforms. 

  • Heavy copywriting with the ability to develop creative, clear, and concise storytelling for a variety of audiences across multiple platforms (website, email, PR statements, and social channels) 

  • Shoot, edit and manipulate photos/videos/graphics/etc for use on social  

  • Analyze and report on social and digital data for client accounts 

  • Identify opportunities for emerging digital and social platforms, trends and potential new vendor relationships that can add value to social presence. 

  • Share community feedback, respond appropriately, and identify potential issues 

  • Assist in graphic design and statement copywriting for PR releases to be shared on social channels 

  • Assist in the creation of estimates for out of scope projects 

  • Manage travel logistics, appearance schedules, and event attendance as needed 

  • Travel to key events to provide on-site support for social content creation, content shoots, PR needs, etc. 

  • Manage influencer marketing campaigns to secure best fit opportunities for the brand to engage with partners 

  • Manage 1-2 junior staff as part of your account team and prioritize helping them develop to grow younger talent 

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed, dependent on the athlete/personality involved. 


Required Skills, Experience & Abilities 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Media or related and appropriate majors.  

  • 3-6 years experience working in a digital / social media or communications role with a brand or sponsor of brand 

  • Must possess superior written and verbal skills, editorial judgment, and knowledge of digital culture. 

  • An understanding of the motorsports industry preferred 

  • Interest in pop-culture, current trends, and a healthy curiosity of social trends  

  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and project management skills 

  • Thorough understanding (in a business capacity) of social platforms including, but not limited. to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Snapchat and YouTube 

  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager and Twitter Ad platform 

  • Actively follow new technology trends and apply to client digital strategy where appropriate. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards  

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office required. Must have proficiency in data reporting, deck creation, and information organization. 

  • Basis proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and video/audio editing (FinalCut) preferred 

  • Must be willing and able to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings (nights and weekends as required). 

  • Must be physically able to lift 25 pounds and stand on your feet for an extended amount of time. 

  • Experience with social media aggregation platforms and analytics tracking software
